New owner in Wyoming

Hey everyone,
We recently purchased a red 2018 GT2 AWD with 23k on the car. I was a little hesitant to buy a KIA, but it drove so well and the fiance loves it. I just wanted to pop in and say hello. Anybody have any suggestions on must have mods for reliability? We will be running premium fuel and I use Royal purple oil in my vehicles. What is the life expectany of these motors when well maintained?

For first mod, Oil Catch Can on the PCV side of the engine, here's a picture of it.

Go watch some videos on OCC, you will be surprised on how much oil they catch after a couple thousand miles..

I've watched quite a few and it does sound beneficial. Does this void Kia's warranty? Ice heard they can be sticklers on warranty issues.

No it does not void your warranty, I haven't heard of any dealerships giving stinger owners a bad time about OCC... I personally don't go to the dealership unless it's warranty work an even then I don't trust them..

Aren't OCC illegal in all states due to modifying the engine's emissions system? I'd like to install one as well, but am leery when it comes to anything deemed illegal, or of which would cause warranty issues.

Welcome @Deagen I've never heard of an OCC deemed illegal & no it doesn't affect your warranty.
