Is the service based on monthly intervals or mileage, and are they using synthetic? Here where I live, Kia charges about $90 for a non-synthetic oil change.

I believe it is 6 months/6,000 miles (whichever comes first) Don't know what oil, a Kia dealer servicing a Kia car, I'd expect it to be what Kia recommends.

It's probably this Kia Care Service Plan they are quoting you. It's not bad considering they go a little beyond just oil changes.

Yep, every 12 months it's a proper service, in between each proper service, it's an oil change.

It was at first a little disconcerting that none of the normal UK service plans were applicable to what is meant to be their top car, but when I was chatting to the dealer today he said they had received this plan and price this morning. I thought it'd be useful info for any other UK people thinking of buying one.
