Navigation free update

Has anyone availed themselves of this offer? does the dealer do it for free or do i have to do a download and install? Personally, I am finding the instructions quite confusing but then I am old.

Call Kia customer care, if you recently bought a car and software is outdated they will send you a SD card with update and instructions. Just got version v13.5 last week.

I have 12.5 and v14 is supposed to be coming out early next year.

I probably should have waited, haven’t notice much differences so far just the usb music player is much improved.

sorry for taking so long to update. I got the free navigation update done in March by the dealer. Significant improvement in the automatic scale adjustment at various speeds and also better graphics on intersections.

I downloaded the update directly from kia website. Didn't take long to download and I had to use my own 32gb SD card.

The update takes may take sometime but it's worth it.

Liking the new UI in navi. Some people enjoying the added Nature sounds.

This download option is only available for Canada only at the moment. Not sure if they will make it available for the US as well.
