So I'm going from 18s to let say 20s, will I notice any difference in weight? Drivability?
I can tell you that the stock wheels are cast so going from cast to rotary forged wheels like these SF07, you do save a bit of weight.

20X9 would average to about 23lbs and most cast wheels at the size we need would come out to 28-32 lbs.

Have you decided lol? Want to see those bad boys on your Stinger.
Not yet. I think I'll go with 19s considering how the roads are around here and with the family I think 20s will make the ride a little harsh. This is my daily car and theres going to be a lot of road trips. I love the looks of 20s dont get me wrong. Will make up my mind soon though. Maybe I'll do 19s with 35 or even 40 series tires to fill in the gap.

The stock size tires for the RWD GT are 35 series in front and 40 series in the rear, but the front I think is a little skinny for the wheel. I think it's a clearance issue. I haven't gotten it up on a lift yet to look at it. Maybe someone on here knows why.

Any good wheel size calculators for the Stinger. Wheel diameter is important, but offset and tire size are just as important to get the right look on the car.

My personal preference is a meatier tire that is flush with the fender.

Good advice. If I want a "flush" and dont want to sacrifice ride quality it's best if I go with 19s with meatier tires. The thin side wall look on a tire doesnt do it for me.

Just purchased a Stinger today! I need an education, I see no mention of 21's - again novice question, would 21's rub or other issues? Thanks in advance. Need to get some shoes on this baby! And transfer my audio system ASAP.

I haven't see anyone run 21", probably because the tires will be way too thin.

probably find a 21X9 wheel with run 245/30/21. it'll probably rub just a hair on full lock or near full lock turns.

staggered setup is ok as long as the tire overall rolling diameter is the same.

235/35/20 - 275/30/20 for those that want a bit of stretch on the 9/10.5
245/35/20 - 285/30/20 for those looking more of a meaty tire look without rubbing.

also will need to consider what offsets to run.
What offsets would you run on the 245/285 setup?

I'll be shopping for 18-19". Simply not enough tire on the wheel for me if you go any larger - from a damage, aesthetic, and comfort perspective.

You have great tastes, those Stance wheels are beatiful. Personally I'd go with 20" wheels.

This Stinger is riding on 20" wheels and stock suspension. I think it looks just fine.
How is the ride quality on the 20s I plan to keep everything stock except the rims n tires.

That is a good article, in general. What it fails to account for is that the stock 19" Stinger wheels are heavy and after market wheels are considerably lighter. Most people with Stingers that go to 20" wheels report a significant weight savings over stock OEM 19" wheels and tires. You can save even more weight by replacing 19" OEM with 19" after market wheels. At least that's what I read.
