For the first time I can say I've completely cut cable from my expenses. My T-mobile plan gives me free netflix and I can use my cell data as a hotspot. Anyone else do the same?

I didn’t have a pay tv service for close to 7 years and then I ended up signing up with YouTube tv last year so I could watch baseball. No other streaming service has as much sports availability as YouTube tv. Plus I got in just before they raised their rate to $40/m

Is YouTube tv worth it? I like having some local channels

I have all my local network stations. Just not the public broadcast stations. I can get some of those over antenna anyway. Not like I ever watched them.

The downfall to YouTube tv is the lifestyle channels aren’t available. Hgtv, diy, food network, etc

Now that I've got fiber service and even ESPN garbage streaming service runs smoothly, I've gone back to cutting the cord. PS Vue offers everything I need for sports and then some, and everything else I care to watch is on Netflix and Hulu. Should end up effectively saving about $60/mo.

I am going into month 2 of cutting Cox out. I went with YouTube TV. My only challenge so far is that Cox has a 1TB limit each month. I think I will be OK usually.

Don’t see myself cutting that cable connection just yet. All of the other services just haven’t mastered the ability to channel surf.

I just cut cable...$230.00 per month down to $136.00.
YouTube TV $50/mo
Philo TV $20/mo to get the few channels my wife wanted not yet on YouTube
$66/mo for internet

Bought 3 Roku premier+ 49.00 each

1 month in and have everything we want and more cuz wife can't do without Hallmark channel lol

Totally happy

Even cut cable from my internet service. A company came through and buried fiber. 5x the download speed and saved me like $25 per month. This after cutting DirectTV's hundreds of dollars to Rokus, PS Vue, Netflix, Amazon, and HBO. It was all a no-brainer once you looked at the savings and knowing you're paying for internet either way. To top it off, the fiber's been more dependable than cable (no interruptions at all - gotta hope that continues).

I have YouTube TV, and I get ALL those channels and dozens of others that I don't watch either.
