I read this post back in June when it came out. Popped up on recently viewed pages and I'm sure glad it did. The car is quite stunning with body lines that are quite intoxicating. See below for full review. The car will be a 2019 model so should hit showrooms late 2018.

I agree it?s a sharp looking car, I think it replaces the CC right?

The Arteon is a beautiful car, I'm more concern over VW's longterm reliability.

+1 on that as I have never owned a VW product. However, most of the 2018 and beyond cars are covered by a 6yr/72k bumper to bumper. That will entice a lot of folks. I don't keep cars long so anything past that isn't a concern.

The Arteon is a great looking car and will be a competitor to the Stinger. I'm personally considering the Arteon and the Audi S5 along with the Stinger but right now the Stinger is way ahead in looks, performance and value.

I was also considering a Buick Regal GS but was not impressed with the appearance of the car. It's nice inside but the exterior wasn't what I was looking for.

I'm curious on both of their resale values. I believe the GT and up models with hold their value pretty well, different story for the 2.0.

The GS is a good package and you can get one for a decent price. (2013 GS here in RC w/33k miles for $18K) It's a bit small for me also since it'll be a daily driver for me. Gotta keep the puppy satisfied.

Too bad we don?t get an R version
I wouldn't think we need it. The R Line for the CC had some good aesthetic touches but I think it's a great car overall. I like that it's a hatch like the Stinger AND it has AWD.

Showed my wife the Arteon and she was like 'meh'. She says the Stinger is much better looking in the front end.

The DSG makes a lot of problems, so you will not find this transmisson in the future. VAG (VW, Audi end more), BMW will stop usind this.

The Arteon R won't be for sale in the USA because it'll be too expensive. Arteon R sales would either cut into Audi sales or no one would buy the Arteon R and just get an Audi for the money. Too bad if you ask me...

They designed Arteon for old mans last car.

This car just has no emotion, no balls if you understand what i mean.

Even the interior you can find in the other cars of the VAG-fleet.

But this is the way they earn money.
In my Seat i coud use a lot of parts from Audi, Skoda and VW (A3, Golf, W8, Beatle and more).

Just my two cents to the Arteon.
