Once again, Thank you MurlinatoR. This appears to be a 3rd party store which shows there is a full version update but it's "not available". Which leads me to assume we can not download updates?

So there is in fact a new software version (at least according to them)... but it's not available. Am I the only one who thinks this makes no sense? Why tell me there is a new version if it's not available?
And after watching the brief video, it looks as though it will come with a hefty $200+ price tag...? Who is willing to pay for this when Apple Maps and Google Maps update their maps several times a day for free?

I will let you in a little known secret guys. If you call the Kia VIP line (number is on the card that came with the car) and ask about the nav update they will give you the first one for free as a courtesy. It's been done a few times by other owners.
They will ask for your lease details and vehicle info. Once everything checks out they send the update in a SD card that will use to replace the one that is already in your car. 20 mins or so after you have installed the card and turned on the ignition you will have an updated NAV.
As always robz32 you are a wealth of unwritten knowledge.
Not sure it?s even worth my time. Feels kinda like we?re just kicking the van down the road. No one pays for map updates. It?s just sad that the auto manufacturers haven?t found a better way.
