They need to be wired but when I emailed them they said they don't provide instructions.

Can't be too hard to install. Its just a red and a black wire, you can tap into the ambient light on each door, that way they turn on when the lights are on.

Would be good to know for all Stinger owners who don?t get the Ambient light (everyone from Europe for example) if the wires are there anyway. If they are not then there is probably nothing to connect with.

Can't be too hard to install. Its just a red and a black wire, you can tap into the ambient light on each door, that way they turn on when the lights are on.

I'm with you on it not being too hard, but it would be so much easier for people if they provide some basic info instead of having people fish around for the right wire.

I would encourage everyone considering this to pick up some T-Taps connectors and not splice any wires.

In the case of the EU spec Stingers, they will need to tap in to the wire that powers one the light of the window switch.

You don't get any instructions for any such DIY led items. In case you get them they are in korean so it's as good as nothing. Some customers complain about this but I can't help it manufacturer provides nothing.
It's usually just 2 wires but unless you have some knowledge about electrical stuff it's hard to know where and how to wire such parts.

Man. No responses since 2018? I’m trying to put them in now. Three doors were super easy because the wiring harnesses say “illumination +/-“. The drivers side door doesn’t have that. Anyone know where to tap in?
