2.2 Diesel AWD. Would have loved to buy the 3.3 but Belgium Government charges an extra ? 9.700 US dollar just to register the car... (while the diesel is "only" ? 2000 US dollar registration tax)

Yeah, that's true. Taxes in Belgium are insane on these cars. But as was first looking for a new Audi or BMW, I was looking at prices between 80 and 90K so with the savings that I could make purchasing the Stinger I decided to go for the 3.3 and pay the taxes.

I see you're from Ninove. Our company is based in Zottegem. I also ordered in february so your delivery is much faster then mine as it is only expected mid to end of august.

Where did you order yours ? Did you manage to get a testdrive with the diesel ? I could only testdrive the 2.0 petrol as there were no diesel models available.

Let me know when yours arrives. Would love to see the Deep chroma blue in real life.

You guys are lucky to get the diesel, I would have gotten that if it was available here.

Really ? I thought that diesel was very uncommon for people living in the US as the petrol prices are very low over there. Here in Belgium prices of petrol and diesel are getting equal so the only difference we have is that diesel engines are still more economical than petrol engines but that's about it. I'm driving diesel powered cars for more than 20 years now so for me it will be my first petrol powered car.

I ordered at Kia in Naast (Soignies) and had 2 testdrives with a high chroma red diesel. Delivery time is an estimate. Will post when the car arrives.

So I received some good news today. My car is allready in transit to Belgium and it should arrive by the end of june instead of the middel of august

Oh boy I'm so excited. A guy I know posted some pictures yesterday as he was unloading Kia Stingers in the Netherlands so I contacted him and it is the boat that should arrive around June 16th that is allready here. He was going to take a look again today to see of he could find my car and take some pictures.

So now its just waiting for the processing through customs and the transport to the dealer.

July 2nd is my Birthday so with a little bit of luck it should work out for my car to arrive just in time

actually, I was told that "our" boat was due for Sunday 10/06 in Rotterdam so if it already arrived yesterday, they made good speed. Awaiting dealer confirmation now. Fact is you'll have your car before July 2nd

Ah ok. I was told around mid June in Rotterdam but apparently the harbour of Rotterdam is too busy for the moment so they are diverting boats to the harbour of Vlissingen.

My stinger arrived at the dealership this morning. Waiting for a delivery date as the ceramic coating needs to be applied so don't know yet when I can go for the pick-up.
