so it really depends on the brand used. Most of them have roughly 8-12 years of average use before they start to show signs of age. However, most recommend removing the wrap or getting a new one in 5-7 years as after than can make the wrap difficult to come off easily. Most of these wraps are very sturdy(again some brands are thicker than others) and can stand up to a good amount of dings. if you get a wrap that isnt the same or near the same color though, any major ding or scratch that manages to cut through will leave a pretty obvious color showing through the wrap, so there that to think about. overall, if your thinking about a protective film already and you want maybe a change of color or even a the same color in a different texture then go for a wrap. if you are extra concerned for the car you can always clear bra over the wrap too xD

Wraps for our cars should generally cost in the 2500$ range with materials included(depends on location and competition in the area/ also shop reputation). Any good and reputable shop would be in the 2500-3000 range but you can find some newer eager shops for cheaper just make sure to check on their customer reviews to see how they interact after wraps are done/go bad. do they tend to make things right and stand by their customers etc... I got mine for about the 2k mark from a smaller shop and the little issues i did have the guy has worked with me to fix so I am happy with it.

I don't know what's the lifespan on wraps. I can tell you the vinyl wraps itself are not as strong as the xpel clear bra. We had a work truck that was partially wrapped for advertising purposes and the vinyl they used was super thin.
